Michael Hayden

Michael Hayden is the Superintendent of Schools in the Clyde-Savannah Central School District, a role he has held since 2014. After earning his CAS in Educational Administration from SUNY Brockport in 2007, he served as Junior High Assistant Principal in Auburn and Middle School Principal in Trumansburg before joining Clyde-Savannah in 2012 as Director of Curriculum and Instruction. From 2020-22, he led the Wayne County Superintendents' organization through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. His leadership in community schools has garnered regional and national recognition for the district, and he was recently selected to join the Institute for Education Innovation.
