David Furletti is in his sixth year as Superintendent of Schools for the York Central School District.  YCSD is a rural district 30 minutes south of Rochester, NY.  During his time as Superintendent, he has led district’s strategic planning, culturally responsive education program and developed a comprehensive STEAM program.  David has built a forward thinking district where all students are welcome, valued and have a voice.  During his 20 years in administration, he has remained a student advocate, ensuring that their voices are heard.  Because of the quickly changing environments that our students will graduate into; David continues to work to build opportunities for all students.  Ensuring students have experiences that are essential to growth and development, preparing them for post-secondary pursuits.
